    No one ever expects to end up in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, our staff provides a capable, experienced safety net for the critically ill or injured. Our ICU patients receive around-the-clock monitoring and family-centered care.

Trident Health’s cancer care program offers the highest-caliber cancer treatments, technology and support services, all close to home. Trident Cancer Center, located within Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, is an outpatient facility that provides radiation therapy and infusion.
    The board-certified surgeons at Trident Health offer surgical expertise with a compassionate touch, with health and safety as their main concern. Every member of the surgical team, from RNs to surgeons, provides dedicated care to each patient in every operation.
    Trident Health System has two Advanced Wound Care Centers in Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center. These centers provide fast and healthy healing options for patients with chronic wounds. Certified wound care nurses and highly trained hyperbaric technicians work with physicians and Trident’s healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
