We are seeking an RN for Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for our Cardiac Recovery Unit.
What you will do in this role:
- Under general supervision, the RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System.
- In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.
- The Ambulatory Care RN prepares patients Cardiac catheterizations and EP procedures.
- Also prepares patients and assists in CPRU procedures.
- This position also performs Phase II and III recovery and prepares outpatients for discharge.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate’s Degree in Nursing or higher is required
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold and active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.
